Land Treatment Exploration Tool
Land Treatment Exploration Tool
The Land Treatment Exploration Tool was originally conceived by the Bureau of Land Management and U.S. Geological Survey as way to easily visualize the data in the Land Treatment Digital Library. The tool has evolved to include other information about planned treatment sites. Today, the Land Treatment Exploration Tool allows users to upload or digitize a planned treatment area and returns reports detailing multiple characteristics about the site. These reports assist managers in making land treatment decisions that will increase the likelihood of success.
The User Guide contains detailed instructions on how to correctly use this tool. Incorrect use of this tool may result in inaccurate assessment(s) of the planned treatment site(s) and may result in decisions that do not improve the odds of success. NOTE: Some treatment records have been lost over time, contain incomplete data, or have yet to be added to the LTDL. Presently, a limited number of treatments within the last five years are available via this Tool. We are working with field offices to obtain and add the most recent treatment data to the LTDL. If you notice missing or incorrect data, please notify us at ltdl_project@usgs.gov or call 541-750-1030.
